The Dukane projectors have pretty good speakers on them. Probably the loudest

We use 2 models. An NEC VT695 (No longer in production) and the Epson
84+. Like them both, no issues with either so far. (probably just
jinxed myself). I do not think the speaker is loud enough and am
looking for a better solution. Jeremy in FD and Mark in WC have a good
solution that I
We have always put a pair of 3-piece Cyber Acoustic speakers in the
rooms. We started using ceiling mount speakers with an external
amplifier, but cost kept us from continue down that path.

We found the built in speakers to be less then fulfilling. We equip all
our smart classrooms with a Bose 151 (for those wanting more bass try
the Bose 251) speaker and a 40 watt radio shack amp.

We've got kind of a mess of projectors here, because we've tended to buy
whatever's cheapest at the moment. My favorite of the ones we have is the
InFocus IN2104EP. And we generally use multimedia speakers either plugged
into the projector's sound out port, or just connected to the laptop
Hi,
We have used NEC projectors for the last several yrs. with very good results.
Current model we are ordering is the NP-510.
We have done a lot of classrooms with amps and a ceiling speaker in the last 5
yrs. We have recently done quite a few with Lightspeed classroom amplification

Yesterday, Jerry Cochrane, Craig Barnum, and I met with David Herzog
(Midwest Computer Products), Tim Laing and Michael Cho (both Epson
reps).
We all met at College Community's new building that will house 7-9th
grade students. Craig was interested in comparing the Dukane 8755H-RJ

We have purchased mostly Epsons as of late (and haven't had
problems). The key I have found is to standardize (district,
ideally, but especially building wide). That has helped a lot!
Also . . . I have learned to be VERY aware of all the input and

We are all NEC as well. I will be putting in another 20 NEC projectors this
summer.

I always recommend purchasing from the AV Coop. Twice a year we Shoot-Out
over 50 projectors so each projector has been looked at before it is put on the
Coop catalog.

Currently DLP projectors have a significant lifetime savings vs LCD projectors

We have projectors and by the Fall I will have 40 classrooms with
projectors mounted to the ceiling. They get used constantly and there
were many teachers that were upset that they had to wait a year to get

We believe in the projector idea. We have people that use that same
argument as well, until you permanently mount them in the classroom and
they are always connected to the computer. Once we have done that, the
teacher's do not have to worry about connecting them or the setup. They

Here is a second for the Qomo tablets. I got to play with one a few
weeks back, and was greatly impressed. I have one on the way from the
Coop so I can start showing teachers how to use it.
