I have a very clear picture with crisp colours.
But I have no sound.
I tried numerous options in modprobe.conf with no results.
I'm convinced my setup is wrong, but how to fix it?
Any help would be appreciated.
Dom.
Probably a stupid question in this forum.
When going from 0.3.6r to 0.3.7g (and at the same time from 2.6.11 to
2.6.12) the sound level of my recordings (obtained via mythtv) decreased
substantially. Could this be a result of the newer driver?
Thanks a lot!

Ok, just tested 0.3.7i
S-Video works.
Composite works.
I have lost my "Tuner" completely. No audio or video.
I tried patching the cx25840-driver.c like we did last time.
I noticed you changed it, so I hand patched it.
Doesn't appear to matter.. hmm.

What is freezing? Is it the encoder/decoder card or mythtv front end.
My mythtv frontend crashes and freezes periodically. I found this nifty
