I think many of you, who have this problem, should report it to adobe. They
have to fix it, because it's not legitim that we have to convert documents
just because regressions on adobe reader software.

You get a demo version of FSReader with JAWS 10 and earlier. You can
however download the full version free from the FS website. You do not
even need to be using JAWS to use FSReader full version.

Right. If you have JAWS 11 installed you will already have the full
FSReader. So even if you use JAWS 8 primarily, but JAWS 11 is just
installed as a demo, then you can still use the full FSReader with JAWS 8.

I had not heard any. If you had not listen to the cast on window 7 part 1
and 2 at blindcooltech.com I suggest you listen It is OK and can help. I
does not do anything to talk about comparing XP and Window 7. It is not the
greatest but it is something to help you with window 7.

I thought Fredom Scientific made the DAISY FS Reader a free product starting
with JAWS 11. As far as I know, the only way to get the FS Reader is to
download the full JAWS 11 version, even if you do not have a license for
that version. In that case, JAWS would only work in 40 minute demo mode.
I have the full fs reader, I am sure, it does not say demo! susie

after pressing open wait quite a long time, fs reader is loading all the
books and files that it can read on your hard drive and it takes quite a
long time but hopefully they willl all appear in the open dialogue box after
a while.
This used to happen to me, I used to think something was
Jaws 11 demo = Fs reader demo which means you can only use it with FS DAISY
books.
The full version can play all DAISY books.

Yes, I've tried that and any other key combination I can
think of and I can't hear page #'s etc. Most times I convert
PDF docs to text or word because I get too frustrated with
Adobe and getting around in documents. Back in older
versions such as 7 etc it sure seemed much easier.
