Hey Mike
Thanks for the tip but would you mind directing me a bit more as to where
the symbols list is and how to adjust the way jaws speaks it?
Thanks for any more help

The basic training modules are broken up in to sections. When they update
those things they get posted as a set of instructions that go together.

Press Insert+4 for the symbol to print list and arrow down.
The other way to change how JAWS speaks the copyright symbol © is to go
into Settings Center (or Quick Settings), and do the usual things there.

The best method, perhaps, is to add a JAWS dictionary entry (into the
default JDF - insert+d, control shift d, alt-a) - for the © symbol, and
then add into the replacement field, copyright. Save changes - control
s. Alt-F4. Job done.

Hi Folks,
I'm not sure if this is affecting everyone, but Yahoo Mail, in particular,

Does anyone know of any tricks to using this sort of configuration, or

Hi Janie,
Press the Insert / Jaws Key + 4, on the number row above the main keyboard.
This opens the symbols list. Arrow down through the list press enter on
the symbol you desire. Pressing enter will place the symbol wherever the
cursor is sitting. I have no idea how you want Jaws to

Not sure how else to say subject line, but what happens is, let's say I want to
go to system tray and find Jaws or MSIE or any item in the tray. I hit enter,
and instead of going to the options that pertain to the item--options like
maybe open, exit, etc.--it shows the icons on desktop.
I simply can't understand ribbons and am afraid to try newer versions of
programs--WLM 2011 being one example. Most likely I'll try sticking with older
versions of programs as long as possible, but is there an F.S. tutorial on how
to use these ribbons? Thanks.

The best way to use the system tray insert-f11 is to select the left-click,
right-click, or left-double-click button. Occasionally, though, I've
noticed that a button gets mislabeled and will jump back to the desktop.
