I've set up thunderbird with my Gmail account successfully. However when I
select on any of my folders e.g. inbox, or sent or trash and then tab over
twice to the list view for that folder which lists all the emails in that

the start menu startup folder, though it might look in other locations
as well. Either way, it's a good idea.

physically remove it. All msconfig does is modify the entry so that it
doesn't run. Better to have it physically gone.
Unfortunately the files that get installed have filenames that are
GUIDs, which are randomly generated.

If it's a service, you can't delete it using the services.msc program,
but you can do the next best thing and that is to disable it.
Once you have found Amazon assistant in the services list, right click
on it and select properties, in the dialog that comes up, tab until you
get to a drop down
I have it stopped. would like to have it removed from the computer. Having
it stopped is the next best thing.
