Sweet.
I like the sound of the screen-shot scanner. Sadly the pro version is almost

I use Winamp for this too. There is a random button in the playlist editor.
I don't think there's a convenient shortcut for it by default. But yes, it's
there. When I took a brief look last time when I had version 2.2.6 or
something, I could not get jAWS to find it, however. I will try again with

Regarding VLC, can you tell me the process for accessing an external cd rom
drive? I attempted to do this previously, but I could only find my internal
drive on my dell laptop. Using JAWS 2018, Windows 10, and VLC 2.2 (I
believe).
Thanks.

Hey jerry.
Isn't this something of an ongoing issue for you? Did you ever get your
external CD rom to be recognised for the other program (was there more than
one?) you were using?
You can find all disk options under "open disk" in the media menu. Looking
at it now, there is a series of radio but
In WinAmp, pressing the letter S, should shuffle the currently loaded
playlist.
The letter R, will repeat.

I am using
Abbyy FineReader 14. I was using 12, but it quit working properly for me.
Their tech people couldn't seem to figure out the problem. Since I liked
the program, I decided to buy the standard version 14, and I still like it.

Thanks.
So you have no serious accessibility concerns, especially when compared with
v12, which you used to use, and which it seems most respondents on both
lists I've asked are still using?

Yes, but we are talking about VLC player random function, not winamp.
I prefer randomising the playlist in winamp with alt-shift-r rather than
using shuffle mode. The reason is that when using shuffle it's impossible to
tell what song has just played after it's moved on to the next one.

By the way your message read it seemed you were talking about WinAmp in that
respect.
My Mistake.

Yes, there was a sentence in there where I should have written "VLC" to
clarify, since I was relating/comparing both programs. Sorry.

Can anyone help.
When I Choose Customize Punctuation it says

Is there anyway you can do it just for one program.
I just want to change one individual punctuation to say something in one
application not every program.
Many thanks.
Some web accessibility professionals discourage using keyboard
shortcuts because browsers, screen readers and operating systems
interpret them in different ways. My personal belief is to keep them
there, but to make sure that there are other ways of choosing the
options if this is possible.

Hi, Folks. How do I get keyboard echo back to only echo words? For

through several menus and/or keystrokes is frustrating to say the least.

Hi Roger.
Yes, this was my conclusion as well. I personally feel this particular

enthusiastically about them to the developers. Now I realise I should
probably have done so with more caution. They are great, but they may not
