document forgot to turn on the 'recognize text with OCR button. When I want
a hard copy scanned as pdf, I give my student worker the following
instructions:
1. place copy on scanner
2. open Adobe Acrobat

I used to be able to read the status line with insert-pagedown; recently
however and for reasons I cannot figure out, the insert-pagedown combination

problems. Version 7 worked fine until it started to generate error messages
and quit frequently without providing an error report.
