good book: Coreservlets and JavaServer Pages, by Marty Hall +1 also highly recommended: The JSP Book by Hans Bergsten - http://thejspbook.com/ The new Core JSP by Houghland and Tavistock covers a lot of ground, but does not have the same indepth examples of others in the core series. --
