Thanks to all who responded to my 'Day One' post...
Day Two was spent doing the nose-gear strut & buying some
wood/incidentals... In the process, I pretty much confirmed what you all
told me... Stock main gear can't be converted, it has to be replaced, as
the Diehl nose-wheel is too tall to
I did the nose gear strut today - and a bunch of other stuff that had to
be done to make room: the existing exhaust had to go, but it was a very
poor (read: fire hazard) design, so no loss there (although I plan to
use the parts I cut up to make a new exhaust), and a few other things
too - but
The CG range called for in the plans is " 8 to 16 inches aft of the

Before I decided on wing tank I thought about cargo bays too. Should work just
fine just watch the CG thing and I would keep the access panel small maybe
12x12.

Glenn,
You might let Mark know the names of the other email providers. It
sounds like the KRNet may have been added to some blacklists. He'll have to
track'em down and request to be removed. They'll test his system to make
sure it's not a relay or spambot or whatever and remove it. It's

NetHeads,
Problems posting to the list are often problems "receiving" from the list,
which are usually spam filter problems with your email provider, such as

Hi folks,
Had a buddy tell me the other day about a Czech plane he saw recently...
the Sportcruiser. When he googled a pic for me, I noticed the similarity in
general form to the KR2. Then he started talking about how it had cargo wells
in the wings... x number of pounds in each. Blah

that I do not see.
I always go in and look in my spam filter to see if I can find the missing
posts but never see them.
