I didn't follow all of the conversations on this, but the guy who told me about this insurance does not have any connection with me. He actually lives about 200 miles from me. He was just telling me what he found and went with. Mn doesn't require us to have insurance if we don't fly the plane.

There are lot of factors that come to play here: Time in Type, total hours, if a Conventional Gear how many total hours tail wheel. Airport based, grass, hard surface. You can shop around but Falcon and probably AOPA act as brokers and they put you information out and accept bids from the carriers.

You guys need to contact AUA (Aviation Unlimited Agency) at 800-727-3823 and ask for Pam Sharpe. Skysmith, AOPA, Falcon, etc...could not match their rates and I got quotes from all of them. Mine is up for renewal July 1st so it will be interesting to see what they do this year. Mark Jones (N886
