I can't believe greedy Ken has refused to sell him...I mean we sold anyone else
for whatever we can mine to the likes of Norwich, Villa, etc.

Grayson) don't rate this pile of Argentine tripe one bit either and can't be

A pitty there is no like button the mailing list... this
so he scored the winner and is one goal closer to "top 10"all time scorer
list.
If hes that shit then what does it say about LUFC if hes to be a top 10
soon?!!
a scary thought.

What a ridiculous statement. If you play long enough for a club, particularly
as a striker you're expected to be up there in the goals totals.
Becchio has been playing for Leeds for half a decade now. Remember Jack
Charlton is in that top 10, and Mark Viduka isn't , so what does that say about

The surprising thing for me is that Becchio is such a good penalty taker!
For someone who struggles to complete a 5 yard pass most of the time, a 12
yard shot requiring power and accuracy (plus a little subterfuge) must be
quite a challenge, but he has got what now..4 in a row? (Which is

Can't disagree with that - he has surprised me on that front, however if I'd
have stepped up to take his pens this season there's a decent chance I would
have converted them. Lets face facts , you shouldn't miss a pen. I think I've
taken about 5 in my life and have yet to miss.

I'm not a real Becchio fan but last night I thought some aspects of his
game were good:
- He never stopped running and "harrying"/pressurising defenders
- He often won defensive headers from opposition set plays
- his penalty taking is spot on
Mind you, his awareness, first touch and pas

Colin did say that he had tried to sign him on either two or three
occasions !
I see Grayson the other day said that he was very close to singing

Easy option. Really hacks me off on TV when the "Can't really be arsed
looking at the game in-depth, let's give MOTM to the goalscorer" appears
to be the default setting. I've lost count of the number of games when a
central defender has been brilliant, marshalling his back 4 and commanding

Did he put an offer in ?
Apparently Boro and Hull also put bids in ?
Of course they did ! Colin was just bigging up Becchio. Do you think Colin
would have for him if he'd bid as manager of QPR ? Bates would have snapped his
hand off.
Same for Boro and Hull - it's fiction.
Oh Celtic and Liver
