I have a question for those of you that have the extreme router bit
extension on their LOM router. How often do you check and re-tighten the
extension into the router? I have had it come loose a couple of times with
no real advance notice. Do you check it every time you use the router or

Very nice. I like the look of the flute/spiral combo design.

By the way I just checked on the original one I went to look at in
Evansville IN and it is still on Craigslist(without photos) but the price
is now down to $400. He has a LOM 900with z-axis and rotary table but only
1 drive gear unless he has found them since I looked at it.
On Sunday, April 2
i saw this video posted on my sawmill forum today. Biggest spiral cut I
have ever seen.

Question for the Triton TRA001 router owners out there. Is there anybody
online selling just the collet only for this router? I can easily find the
nut/collet combo but not just the collet.

I see that these have a fairly pronounced taper. I researched this years
ago when I was making/selling these and it appears that there is alot of
variation and personal preference to the tapers that people use.
Fortunately when I had my sawmill/live edge furniture business I had a ton
of 2-2.
Does anyone already have the dimension for the hdpe blocks used on the
factory thin stock support? I finally found a block of the material that I
can make my own, but wanted to get the dimensions. Overall dimensions and
then size/position of the v-notch should be all I need. I will attach it

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue with their can of
Dynaglide. Almost every time I go to use it the spray is fine for the
first few minutes, but then the nozzle clogs. The it will spray again for
a few seconds and clog again. It never fully clogs but also never sprays

I got a set of gears a few weeks ago from Cindy at Legacy. They had them
in stock, but I may have gotten lucky because she had to run out and make
sure while I was on the phone.

When I bought my LOM 1200 a month ago I was able to get a great price
because the owner could not find a number of the original parts so I took a
chance that I would be able to fabricate or find what I needed to do the
type of work I wanted. I was able to find/make stuff to get functional.
Th
mine attaches the bottom of the aluminum rail with a 5/16 carriage bolt
that I grind flats onto each side of the head so that it slides into the
extrusion from the end. I screw one wood nut onto the bolt that is used to
snug the bolt up to the bottom of the rail after sliding it into position.
Very nice design. Just enough detail to keep it interesting without over
doing the details.

A few questions about the Z-axis upgrade sled with acme screw adjustment.
If I can buy one that is currently on a 900 LOM will it also directly fit
my 1200 LOM? Second question is more personal opinion and only important
if the Z-axis can be swapped across machines. What are the groups though

I'm currently working on the middle of these 3 machines awaiting a response

Yep I'm aware of this machine and just not willing to spend that kind of
money. Im working on others that are much better deals than this one. I
always think about re-sale value on these types of purchases to manage the

I am looking at another 1200 mill that the owner is trying to find the

They definately are interesting. I have a never used one still with
original packaging/box in my workshop. I was going to extend distance
between centers to use it, but the limitations in working distance are
because of the wire drum that is used to move the sled. without a major
