I just print the one alphabetical list, and include the MRINs and RINs on
it. Using it, it is very easy to locate the correct family. Remember the
rule is that if you can find anything in about 15 seconds, then the system's

That WOULD be convenient. If you have the full version of Acrobat (I'm not
sure about Reader), you can at least search for terms, which I do
constantly. Not quite as efficient as what you are talking about. I wouldn't
be surprised if they added that feature.

Actually, I retyped notes in one file that was garbled in Legacy to a word
file, saved it and pasted the Word file back into the note file, and it is
screwed up, too.

In what way? What did you expect to transfer that hasn't?
Note Legacy notes can't handle some of the sophisticated formatting
you get in Word. eg Notes only have rudimentary fixed tabs.
Also, it will look different immediately on pasting to what it will
look like when saved.

The period is there in the Preview but not the space before it.
I see the period as a bug. Certainly the space before it is. I've put
in a bug report.
So the only way to deal with it before a fix is in the RTF where you
