I thoroughly endorse these comments. It seems to me we have some listers
that prefer to ask the easy way - contact this group - whereas some of us
only do it after we've exhausted looking through the archives, clicking on
Help in Legacy, and Googling. All these options would reduce such
questions.
Some listers are new to the list and/or new to computers and don't know
their way around yet. I think they stand out clearly by their type and
manner of questioning. They just need to be pointed in the right direction.

In which report? You must be specific in

a new page after each generation: Ancestor Book, Descendant Book and

It probably will, but they have to be uncompressed tiff's. If you open
a tiff in a graphics program and go to re-save it, it will first bring

when it goes farther than that. If they want to learn about pdf's or Adobe
then do that elsewhere. My opinion is that if it isn't directly about
Legacy (or its add-on programs) then take it offline or to another list.

inappropriate-to-the-LUG question, they should be answered off-list by
as many people as want to answer it. This could include a statement
that it's inappropriate, a list of reasons why and a list of appropriate
alternatives.
I guess my reply wasn't as clear as I thought. There is no reason to think
Legacy, the gold standard in genealogy programs, would make any part of your
database unable to conform to an upgrade. (If it does, it could not possibly
be considered a very good genealogy program, let alone the best,

If you put the paragraph under Master Source Detail, then the Source
Detail might be the specific quote for a particular bit of information.
