Valerie,
My vote is to put Mrs.? Alice as her given name. With your Guild of
one-name studies, you'll probably run across this situation often and may
want to find these ladies easily.
I found her (and a few others I entered to play) easily by entering Mrs.

Thanks JLB but I am doing a One-Name study so at the moment most people are

It is my understanding they are writing a converter to transform old
sources into the new sources format. It probably will not be perfect,
so there will be some input required by the user. You can always
leave your old sources as is and not do anything with them is another

John,
I cannot see how one can stop the pop-up for the Log File and nor do I know of
a faster way of changing the RINs.

I'm not sure what you mean, Valerie. From the Index (is this what you mean

whatever the category of person is ( wife, son, unrelated, etc).
You might find it interesting and informative to pull down all of the menus

It's a mystery to me why you'd bother to Renumber RINs :-) - it's

relationships to each other. Seems to me there are many more
important jobs to do in genealogy.
I guess it's helpful to have key people at an easily rememb
