Before buying anything, check whether your scanner creates temptorary files during scanning and never deletes them. I've used a Visioneer One Touch scanner that creates a 25MB or larger temporary file in C:\Documents and Settings\your-user-id\Local Settings\Temp\OneTouch for each page scanned -
