Part way through the process of exporting a family to a Legacy file
(File>Export to>Legacy file), the screen titles "Combine event definition"
shows, with the name and sentence settings for an event.

other computers in my house; a few have only the C: drive.

I don't bother with Legacy's Pictures and Sounds folders. I have 2 hard drives
in my PC - one for the operating system and programs and one for my files. Long
before I started using Legacy, I set up folders for photos and scans of all my

field has text that is gray not yellow.

I would beg to differ...
If I buy a certain software package because of a particular way it does a
certain thing and it works properly and then I buy the next upgrade and find
that it has changed the way that certain function works I have a perfect right
to feel somewhat less than warm and fuzzy
If you want to retain a specific tag number, just don't clear all tags. You
can clear them one by one - I don't mean individual by individual, but
specific tags, as many tag numbers as you need to clear.
