there were too many duplicates in 144 pictures.
I've put Legacy/Pictures (copied) then erased the folder, so Legacy/Pictures
is now blank.
My plan is to rename the pictures better then start with the fresh

Ila,
In the individuals information screen check the box for This individual
never married and had no children. This is in the lower left corner of the
screen and to the right of the Help button.

it rather depends on exactly what you are looking for. On the Individual

However if a person does have children then that is rather different, because

I don't think it is available at present, but here is a possible 'confuse the

with no pictures, or to be more careful, to everyone; then remove from each

Windows 7 will probably be the best solution. In the mean time, I use "The
Tornado". It has two USB cables to connect between the computers. Once
connected tiled windows opens up showing files on each computer. It's easy
to drag and drop from one to the other.

Thanks to Ron for the answer to the 1/2 siblings question. I
hadn't realized that it wasn't printing out showing all the
little 1/2s until you mentioned it.
Question 1: Since it won't be printing out, why should I bother
with turning on the 1/2 children choice at all. Sure would be

Or, you could wait for Windows 7 which will allow all Windows 7 users in your
network to have all files accessible from all networked computers. No more
sharing folders, sending, switching machines, etc. Doesn't help right now,
though, but it is coming.

Hi wba,
In my post of May 20 I mentioned 2 conditions of the PDF: the presence of
form fields and the enabling of user rights. I neglected a third condition.
When the form is rendered into a PDF, it may be rendered either as an
"interactive" or "printform" PDF. The latter is as it suggests, on

Does anyone know of a way to create a list of individuals that do not have
at least one picture linked to them? trying to create a list that can be
used to solicit from direct family members and dont see an option that deals
with pictures in the search arguments.

that the Standard and higher versions would allow me to Save it after I filled
in the form. All I wanted to do was to fill it out on the scr
Hi, Thanks for replying. In the PDF, I was looking at the Allowed vs. Not
Allowed in the Document Restrictions Summary (File --> Document Properties -->
Security). It says Filling of Form Fields: Allowed.

I have used two methods to move my data for research. I have emailed myself
the data files and downloaded them to my notebook as well as moved them via
a USB key. I have found that the better brands are much more reliable than
the cheaper devices. You get what you pay for.
