The error in the software is that it inserts the word unknown in the marriage list even if the option to use Word for Blank Records is set to (Just leave it blank).  This was not the case in earlier versions of the software.  The only way to distinguish a blank unknown from an actual record

I would like to define an Event to record pieces of information contained in a will or from a probate. This Event would be assigned to the persons named in a will (beneficiaries, personal representatives, etc) - not the maker (decedent) of the will. The Event should state something like:

Pete, Sorry, but the answer is No to both questions. The background to this is that Legacy is based on Access which is a Microsoft product and hence the natural inclination to use their software for what are, in effect, add-ons. Make sure that you always have the Country (England etc.) in

If the pictures are only linked to a source citation, but not an event, they will show a + in the Picture Centre but not be linked to a person. You would have to link the picture to the census event as well in order for it to be linked to a person. Just linking the source citation to the census
