things differently and Legacy is so tremendously flexible.
In Legacy a census record can be a Source, an Event, or both. Search the
Help section
If you open the Family page for the individual, you can either click on the
little note icon below the information filed, or click on the field to open
the information page. Under Events/.Facts select Add, then enter Census in
the event field. Enter the date and location of the census, then click

the file of the photo, you can add multiple copies of a picture to anywhere you
see the icon. I add a family group shot of 40 + people, then add another

Dennis, it took me about 4 hours to create my Source report in Word, but now
it's done and I can update any time I need to and make corrections to errors
made during typing. It's okay that Legacy can't do what I want for this
report because it sure does a lot more than other genealogy software.
I'll have to see if I still have the GEDCOM. I took FTM off my computer so
if I don't have the GEDCOM I'll have to reinstall it and export a new one.

I finally found the place where the File ID is located, but I didn't find my
test ID number in there. I looked through the PDF manual, which is greatly
lacking in any clues, and it said that the Picture Center would be better

In version 7 you can, but having looked at my post I should have written go
to View>Master Source>Show List and delete.

You cannot delete a source if it is being used by an event. So first you need
to go each individual and remove the source using the method mentioned before.
Then you can delete the source. As long as the source is in use by even one
person it can not be deleted that's why you can print a list
