Brian,
Are there any plans on making this portable? Many applications are
and a competitor has a portable version already. I really like Legacy
over any other program but the way things are now, a portable version
seems very practical.
Thanks,
Chuck

I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't throw a tagging feature in
somewhere too. This is way too wordy, but one of those things that is easy
to see, hard to explain.

the research notes for?

Hello,
I hope this hasn't been covered before. I'm wondering what the
difference in the research notes for each individual and the the To-Do
list
for a specific book at a library, etc.
A check list of things that need doing. :-)

Elizabeth,
What you suggest is great
Mary,
Thanks for that. It was a case that I didn't notice the scroll bar
to go down to enter that info.
Richard,
Thanks for your input.
To all,
Do you have any answers/opinions on the rest of my questions?
Thanks,
Chuck

Margaret,
Thanks for the tip. That would be a good place to help on how to
source it. I was wanting to use the source writer for all of my
souces so I would be somewhat forced to be consistant. Although, I
know that even the source writer allows for some flexability.
Thanks again for the

recommended format for census citations where there are page numbers both

I too didn't know about the CTL-A tip but is there a way to have it set to
show you in the family view always? Also, is there a place to find all of
these tips and tricks in Legacy?
Thanks,

Legacy has it but I think it is odd that they put the (city) were the county

you use comma's as placeholders, would be Harrisonburg, , Virginia, USA

they be Aunt and Uncle or Great Aunt and Great Uncle?
Again, I hope my explanation is clear enough so it can be understood.
