downloaded the program, I find it doesn't work with the files I wanted
to edit - those with indented lines (e.g. a simple descendant chart).
It also doesn't work copying and pasting into Word, which is what I've
done in the past -

You can exclude the Living from exports and from reports.
It's usually better to use the normal way Legacy handles privacy for
the living rather than the special Private setting so it can be used
for people you really want to keep P
