Not jumped in, but dipped a cautious toe and made a start.

under 30 sources you can probably count on the answer being No. At this
point it all has to be done manually through each and every field,
stopping only to look up the bits you didn't take note of the first time
around.

idiosyncratic, to say the least.
I am a splitter to extremes. Each birth, marriage, death, census
record, email etc. is a separate source. On the Source Info. screen
I rarely fill more than the Source List Name. And count on one hand my

You can still use the original sourcing just like you are doing in
Legacy 6 if you like.
In Legacy 7 you can choose as an option to use the new Source writer or not.
I do not believe I will be using the Source writer until the user can
edit some of the templates.
For now, the templates are
