Because it's a database program and databases are notoriously delicate. Good
reminder to back up frequently, esp if you're doing a lot of work in the
program.

Tonight the power blipped out for about 12 seconds while I was using

Legacy also has a handy converter. I use it all the time. Find A
Grave gives latitude/longitude in decimal and I use it to convert to
"Legacy friendly." It's found at the bottom of the Event Address box.

It means that YOU have matched that person to a person in NewFamilySearch.
Try going to NewFamilySearch from any other person in your database
and select a match then when you go back to Legacy, that individual
will have colored arrows.

middle names.

listed at the top of the report, i.e. that it isn't part of the Master Source
that is already pre-programmed by Legacy, rather than a Source Detail that you
must enter? That is the way the US census templates
