Where can I find info on the MRIN numbering system? Under Show Help Index ...
MRIN Number Renumbering does not open. Also there is nothing listed under
Options Customize. I am trying to clean up recommended File Maintenance
Check/Repair discrepancies.

Richard,
As far as I know the MRINs cannot be renumbered.

Well, there's always something new to learn! Not that I would ever wish to
renumber the MRINs

From a purely selfish standpoint, I hope there are no changes to the MRIN
numbering system. I would prefer it just as it is since I have predicated my
filing system of source documents on the 'MRIN+nnn' system and it would cause
havoc with my files. Please leave it as it is. If unused

Pretty well all the options for any display/report etc. give you the option
to view of not to view, except for things like the panels at the bottom of
the Family View. You need to look mostly in the options for the
reports/views/displays etc.

It was for all the open tasks, but thank you.
After closing the program last night and opening it this morning, the situation
has gotten worse! All my general to-do tasks are missing! I had 5 and now I
cannot find them anywhere! They were specific microfilms that I needed to
search. Crazy!
Monique,
Check that your filters are OK, ie. they are not blocking everything. If
they are OK then try FileMaintenanceCheck Repair. If that doesn't work
please come back to us.

Richard,Legacy uses a Microsoft Access database to store the information.
Tables in the database need a unique key to identify each record. The primary
key to the Marriage Records table is IDMR which is called MRIN on the outside
world. The Individual Records primary key is IDIR and is

Just to verify: I have All categories, All Localities, Open and Closed

Hmmm... how are you viewing the To-do's? If I am in Family View, and click
ViewTo-do List...
then a window appears that has the header, To-Do List - All (283) If I
change the drop-down box at the top of this popup window, just under the header
bar from All To-Dos to General To-Dos I get To-Do

I agree and think like Jenny on this one. There didn't seem to be a question

Is there any way in the All To-Do's list to distinguish how they were each
categorized when they were created, (general, or individual)? That would be
helpful, like a column next to type or priority.
Ron, can you help me figure out why all my general to-do's disappeared? I did
just do a test
I am totally confused by this conversation. When I hit the to-do list on the
top toolbar I can see ALL of my to-dos, general and individual with no problem.
You can easily tell which are general and which are individual by clicking on

Michelle,
Thank you, somehow missed that. I guess I always had it on the filter-tab. Can
you find where all my general to-do's would of went to since last night?

Yes, but they're mixed in with the Generals. I'd like to be able to see
all the Generals OR all the Individuals.

Well, I do think it would be a good idea for Legacy to add that to the filter
options, general vs. individual.

You can go to any MRIN by opening the Marriage List using the Icon in

Type the MRIN number into the MRIN box and click select to go to that MRIN.
Another way to go to a known MRIN is to click on the M: box in the
