This is just personal preference but if it is lengthy, I would save it as a pdf
and attach it your grandfather instead of copying and pasting it into the
General Notes field.

If you use the Gather Media tool it will put the documents/images in whatever
folder you want (doesn't have to be the Media folder) but it will only gather
to one folder.

When in the chronology view for only one person (female), the events for birth,
death, and census events are listed. The events that do not show up are

Well, the Family View which you are using, is a view of one man and one woman.
Their children are listed first.
If you switch to the other set of parents in the Family View, their children
are shown first.
