There doesn’t seem to be any best practice where one or more Parental names are
“unknown”.
I used to use Unknown which is quite vague.
I now use the terms below.
For Given name: UkFn (Unknown First name)
For Surname: UkLn (Unknown Last name) or UkSn (Uknown Surname)
This shows up
45 degrees. This increases the height as well as the width of the Legacy
Frame. However, I more normally wish to "maximise" the frame, so I click
on that little square in the group of symbols at top-right of the frame I
wish to maximise. If I wish to reduce it again, I click on it again.

You could SyncToy do synchronise the files from you Laptop to the Router's
memory stick and from the PC to the router's memory stick.
Personally I use SyncToy and a portable hard drive.

I have noticed that the field desciptors of Parents and Children that
appear on Family View now take up a line each of visible space.
Can these descriptors be turned off or moved to the left hand edge of the
data fields so as to allow for a larger stretched font in a windowed view.
