Jon, In Advanced Tagging when you click the Ancestor Button or the Descendant Button, both have the option to limit the generations. Make sure you understand the difference between the options on the Ancestor screen of Advanced Tagging. Read the Help from that screen if you don't. Cathy J M

Dave, I'm not sure what you intend to do with the selection you described.  You can get part of it quickly with features already in Legacy.  Highlight the person in Family tab for whom ancestry will be the focus.  Control T to start advanced tagging options.  Set the tag number to be changed.  C

Hi Kathy, No, unfortunately! Not in Legacy anyway but it's easy with ltools or MS Access. In Legacy when you do a search, say for all marriages in Toledo you get results showing Individuals and Ind tags. Even if you fag marriages one at a time you still can't display them in a list. -- Richard Va

Very helpful Ron - there appear to be a number of tasks that LTools can handle and many Legacy Users have it to add functionality to the Legacy program. At a recent LVUG Community Hangout, the presenter mentioned she got her money's worth because she was able to change the font sizes on the Legacy
