After some communication confusion, I won't be going to african bitcoin
confs in december and so no opportunity on my side to get logistical
experience for a future LN summit 2024 in Africa.
I'm still committed to organizing the LN Summit in June 2024, I'm proposing
to move it

I think you're blurring two things, the additional medical risk/vaccination
due to the geographical area selected and the health coverage from the
employer / insurer of your country or origin.
The first one is more a matter of careful country selection, I've never
had to do vaccinations
Sadly, the african continent doesn't only come with additional travel time and visa effort. It also
generally carries additional medical risk/vaccination schedules depending on your
employer/insurer/country of origin.
I don't think I'll be attending any developer meetings on the continent,
