Same... Dan Regan at Wayland Excavating fixed a water main leak about 5' from
the town shut-off valve for us in Fall 2021. He came in with relatively small

The interconnectedness of the ponds and streams with the underground water
aquifers is above my pay grade. I do know that Lincoln is part of three
different river basins: The rain that falls on the ground in Lincoln north of
Route two eventually moves to the Shawsheen river basin. The rain that

Because of a project at the schools, the water department had to shut off the
water to the school complex using a valve on Lincoln Road. Unfortunately the

If you're in North Lincoln and without water, it's because of a break along
Route 2-A. Crews are on-site to fix it but the timetable for repair is
unknown, according to the Water Dept.
Once water service is restored, they recommend running the COLD water for a
time to flush out any brown water

When I first moved here in 1967, Lincoln had that open pressure reservoir and
no treatment plant. The water was sometimes coffee brown and occasionally had
fish parts floating in it. Our water is much improved since those days! ;-)
