Im making a presentation that will involve about 6 movies qt or avi.
This pres shall works on slow comp as well. Quicktime seems to run faster
then avi on slow comp but then I need to install quicktime on users comp
that dont really like to do because when user put in the cd it should run
Director is only giving this "Fatal error har occured. Director will quit
now." - requester before shutting down.
I'm working on D8.5.1 by the way and I have run into this problem with 8 and
8.5 as well. (that is - every version I've worked with).
How could this be code - related, since Director

Is there a Net Lingo command that will allow you to send e-mail? I can only imagine
the possibilities if this were true.

I'm a new comer, I have got a problem when using the
Director.
I want to set the cursor to a field or a text member which is
editabled but it seem funny to using the function "selection"
to set the cursor. Please help me to solve the question.

It's member(whichMember).comments (don't forget the "s"). And Yes, I'm
working on a project where we are using the comments property to store
lists (at least they're lists once converted from a string that is.)

Have an existing bitmap with the right alpha. Import on the fly an
image that you somehow made from the video feed
That's not what I was asking for though ...I was thinking Director could
record audio and compress to mp3.
I'm aware that I can use masterapp to control external appsjust asking
specifically about the swa export xtra.

If all you want is simply an image with an embedded alpha channel, I would recommend
using TIFF format. With no compression, it's
the highest quality format. And the linked image idea is a good solution.
