The getPropAt() command gets you the property at a specific index, whereas
the getAt() command gives you the value at a specific index.
Thus (using old Lingo):
numItems =count(myList)
repeat with x=1 to numItems
thisProp =getPropAt(myList, x)
thisVal =getAt(myList, x)

I think I understand what you want. If so, you definitely want to
use a single behavior and attach that same behavior to multiple
sprites (in your case, the rectangle, circle, and triangle) sprite.
Here's a sample behavior that will start the sprite rotating when
clicked:

I thought there was a way to do it that was analogous to how Director

Jennie and others,
And for reference, here's a handy tech note about lists (written by yours truly some
time ago):

The info is good for D7 and later and shows both traditional verbose-syntax as well as
the newer dot-syntax for all commands. It's a handy

You could use timers, or create an object to put in the actorList, or add it

Are the mp3's all on the CD? If they are, will the tags be changing
any time soon? I was thinking that you could build your list in
authoring, and then use a different technique at runtime.

yes im using the put command but inthe on preparemovie handler:
global Song1List,dummyStreamer
on preparemovie
dummyStreamer = new(#swa) -- make a dummy

Runs in a separate thread, most likely.
Or the sound managers are keeping up during interrupt routines.
