C) if the length is 156 characters or more, then nothing happens, neither
the browser or Outlook are opened, nor does Director produce a fatal error.
Has anyone experienced the same thing and/or could suggest a solution for
longer message texts?
Thanks a lot!

of for instance 40 x 30 pixels in memory:
thumbImage = image(40, 30, 24)
thumbImage.copyPixels((the stage).image, thumbImage.rect, (the stage).rect)
Do with the thumbnail whatever you what, for instance save it in an existing
cast member:
member(Thumbnail).image = thumbImage

and wanted to restart it. Without changing any code the
update to 8.5 resolved the problem. It wouldn't crash anymore in this
situation.
That is all I can report.

So I'm kind of relieved.
Thanks anyway for your valuable suggestions and comments!

Strange, isn't it? Or did I make a mistake?
Thanks a lot for all advice!

! And: If mouse driven operations work in A, A must
have the focus, no? So why do mouseUps work in A while at the same time
keyUps don't work?
It's frustrating!

forgot why by now.
Never mind that you forgot why, maybe you can tell me HOW you work around
it. What I need is a text field in a MIAW that executes a keyUp handler no
matter what the user does with the mouse and no matter what window is
active.
Thanks a lot!

Hi Colin, thanks for the quick answer.
Not sure about the other problem, other than can't you add the pan to the
rect?
There's no need, the result of getHotSpotRect(sprite 1, hotSpotID) is
updated with any move, which by the way can be a change of the field of view
as well. I am just not sure
an index out of range error. But how do
I check if in my array there are the branches that are needed and how do I
create them with a minimal effort?
Thank you very much for your suggestions!

Define the windowType. Look in the Online-Help for the different Types,

Dear friends,
Here is another question for you. I have created a movie. In it I have a
button, once
.
But what if I had a time controlled Powerpoint presentation and I wanted to
return to Director after the ppt presentation has finished?
There doesn't seem to be a "close" command for that?
Is there a way to do that?
Thank you very much

Very good graphic artwork.
