Hi All. I am trying to get source tar ball (not RPM or Binaries) of the xf86cfg utility. Any one knows where I can find this utility sources? (I tried www.xfree86.org of course but w/o any real success). All rpms I used cried about all kind of dependency issues and I just want to either compile

Thx Guys. Well, I've updated XF86Config my self with the below options. All is working now but not 100% efficiently (there is still a blur strap that runs up and down my screen and hurt my eyes). I guess what I need to know is what is the connection between Monitor->Kernel->OS->X (and if there ar

Omer - Thx for the full answer :) Unfortunately for me, it seems as if the new Monitor I just received was broken. (I've tested it on a few other boxes always with the same results... blurry strap that runs from the upper end of the screen to the bottom.) It's on its way to the store as we speak
