Since i saw some discussion of routing issues a while ago i am
posting to this list. If there is somewhere else more appropriate
please tell me where to post this:
i am having trouble reaching my one of my linux boxes in a US hosting
center from Israel...slow transit times
Try running the app with
LC_CTYPE=he_IL.ISO-8859-8 wine app.exe
Be warned that the version which is shiped with debian has no BiDi support.

Run mtr to see exactly where your packet loss is. Try variating the
packet size. Make sure you send a significant amount of packets to make
sure your tests are accurate.

There is no routing problem on what you posted, but it will helpful if you
write what was each route.
Each ISP is connected to a different back bone and that is why you see
different routes to the same ip.
On hop 20 you see a back resolving name ( mailbox...) , this also doesn't
mean anything and

my LANG is set on he_IL.UTF-8
and even when I change it into he_IL.ISO8859-8 the problem remains.
Please note that it also applies on LC_CTYPE.

There is Linux support (connectivity)in netvision.
There is no point not telling the supporter that you use Linux and ask for
his help.
You're only question can be if he can see you connect with wrong password or
if there is a general problem on his side.
