Somebody on another forum told me to try hdparm -tT /dev/sda1 - and the "disk

Hello,
I ned to attach an USB digital camera, Olympus C760UZ.
It is recognized as an USB storage device, with no special drivers, in both
Windows 2000 and Linux (kernel 2.6.11).
However, in Windows the download speed is about 700-800 kb/sec, and in Linux
it's about 200 kb/sec.
What's wrong? I

I have the same camera, and an MSi K7T Pro motherboard...
Hello,
I'm wondering - is it possible for a usb camera to be incompatible with the
usb chip on the motherboard?
The kamera is a HP 618, the motherboard an ABIT KG7-Raid with

I am looking for a cheap usb camera that will work with Linux but it has to
be very small (doesnt matter if the plastic cover is large as long as the
insides are small!!) As I'm going to be taking it apart and installing only
the circuit board into a device.
But I need 640x480 resolution and to

O, yes...I generated the oops with the same kernel.
By the way, I've been copied the source form kernel 2.4.12 to 2.4.10...
And the CU-68R will works wellThat's so funny..
But I don't know is it correct way to solve this problem ...
The detail is as below.
cp -rf linux-2.4.12/drivers/
Did you run this against the same kernel that generated the oops?

You'll need to run it through ksymoops to tell anyone what is going on.
Why are you using 2.4.10? The latest RH is 2.4.9 and the latest production
is 2.4.18. You should probably try either of those.

RH 7.2 comes with 2.4.7-10. You can easily upgrade it to 2.4.9 provided
by RH.

So why do you want to use 2.4.10?

Hi everyone,
I've got a little problem with my USB digital camera (Olympus C2100UZ).
When I plug it in to my PPC, the console tells me that it doesn't
recognise it, which is fine. Then I start ghoto2 to download the pictures
and the machine locks up, requiring a reset. This happens everytime,
