Rob, Just a question or few: 1) which X Environment are you running? 2) Did you use the ltsp_kmods + ltsp_sound package? If I were to use these, would I be able to hear sound in Gnome? I thought I read the it only works in KDE? 3) Is there another way to enable sound w/out using the ltsp_kmo

James, I don't use DHCP v3, so I'm not sure how to get the option-128/129 to work. Also, you can't use just bzImage, you also need to have the initrd image. The bzImage included in the kit is NOT setup to mount root via NFS. we mount it in user space, using dhclient to obtain the parameters.

Just downloaded the 2.09pre2-3 .tgz files. Installed them on a test server. We have ran all the install.sh files (core, kernel, x_core, x_fonts, initrd and localapps). We have no files in the /opt/ltsp/i386/dev path. Is this right? Other /opt/ltsp/i386 paths have files in them. Sorry if th

Hi, The vmlinuz.rtl8139 file you are trying to tag, was downloaded from the LTSP site? Or you compiled it yourself? If it was downloaded, then is already tagged. I think you need to recompile a kernel by yourself, and then use the mknbi-linux command, but with all the parameters. Check
