Hello Folks,
We're planning on releasing K12LTSP2.0 in one week. I'm working hard to
bring the documentation on the k12ltsp.org site up to speed.
I've posted a call for suggestions and a plea for help at k12os.org. If
there are subjects you want included you can send me mail or even

Hi Y'all,
Some weeks ago, I enquired where I might get the source or hex file
for boot rom for NE2k-PCI.
Jim I thing pointed me to sourceforge, but I haven't found it. I want
to modify my rom to set 0x443 to 0xff to start the board's watchdog at
power up. Can anyone help ?

Hello LTSP gurus! =)
I'm a newbie in LTSP and Linux in general. I hope you will give time to read and
probably answer this very newbie question.
I'm using LTSP 3.0 RPM on Mandrake Linux 8.1. I only have one workstation to test
this very interesting project - LTSP. My workstation specs are:
In order to try to sort out my Netscape plugin problems (see earlier
messages), I have set up a second server. So I now have a redhat server with
2 network cards. One is plugged into an ltsp terminal via a crossover cable,
and is on subnet 192.168.2, and the other is plugged into the hub used b
Charles,
There is a project which is dedicated to build a ltsp-mosix enviroment
using Mandrake. I dont have the exect url buy you surely will find it on
www.google/linux. They have also a chat channel on irc.openprojects.net
under #mandrake-ltsp. You can find info that is not related with

Hi all.
I am also interested on local hard disk to boot ltsp workstations. This
is because the place where I am using ltsp have not much enought money
to pay for the eprom burning process and device. Besides they have small
hard disks (600MB, 6GB, 2GB) that can be used on Workstations to take

Hi!
my suggestion for the installation guide:
---
BEFORE you install any LTSP Packages,
install the following 3 packages from your Linux-Distribution:
( ) dhcp - DHCP Server
( ) tftp - tftp Server
( ) nfsutils - kernel-NFS-Ser

Thanks for the comment. I have already tried this approach, but no luck.
I have a theory-- the ltsp rpms I downloaded created a directory: /opt/itsp/i386.
The XF86_S3 rpm created a new directory: /opt/ltsp/i386 (l not i). I then
had to copy the S3 driver to the pre-existing director
