Is 10.1.1.201 the IP address of the server ?
Also, do this:
netstat -anp | grep ":7100 "
see what it returns. If nothing, then you haven't completely
configured XFS to accept connections from remote clients.
Look for the config file. I dunno about your distro, but
on Redhat, it is /et
I've been using LTSP for 3 home clients for more that a year now, whitout any
problems. My server now running SuSE 8.2 pro.
Last week I tried to add one more client based on a Intel D815 Desktop Board.
Have anybody been able to make one of these 82815 based machines work stable
with LTSP?

I have XFS enabled on the server but it is giving another
error again saying that..
_FontTransSocketINETConnect: Can't connect: errno =111
failed to set default font path 'tcp/10.1.1.201:7100'
Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'

Sounds like you didn't install the ltsp_x_fonts package.
Go ahead and install that, and I'll bet the error goes away.
Or, you could use XFS (X Font Server), but you'll need to enable your
xfs server to allow connections from remote workstations.

I have installed SUSE 8.0, but the only problem is that
when a client boots then it hangs at a line that says
Warning: The directory "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/"
does not exist.
Entry deleted from font path.
Fatal server error:
No valid FontPath could be found
please help me guys...
