i am trying to customize the ltsp kernel, using lbe.
that is, i am planning to get a nice progress bar while booting, by
including the linux progress patch.
what i have done so far:
modify package.def for linux-2.4.26 to include patch
modify config file to enable lpp

but then discussion on wiki about cpuArchitectures makes me doubt the
usefulness of this switch.( dixit The thin client will ONLY execute
code that is in the /opt/ltsp/i386 tree )
can someone shed a light on this please ?
are there any cross compiling issues i might stumble on ?
thanks

../lbe/lbe-src/bison/package.def LDFLAGS=-static -z muldefs
now ld is allowed to use multiple definitions, so finishes up without
errors.
it works for me too, maybe a fix in cvs should be done ?
thank you anyway
