I have installed Ubuntu Server 8.04 and Xfce Desktop for LTSP on Sun Fire
X4150 server hardware.
I am doing the below to test LTSP. To begin with, On the server, I made the
changes required on the desktop with regards to shortcuts, adding and
deleting things from the panel. I copied the

Just forget eveything I wrote! (oops) I just added the line 'MODULE_01 =
"sb io=2x220 irq=5 dma=1"' to the lts.conf and eveything is well. I only
thougt I had to explicitly define the kernel module. Sorry.

I have installed the ltsp in the debian and there are
two problems ocurring :
1) If the client stay without activity by some time
(by example, whitout move the mouse and no aplications
running), the X is restarted (Back to the desktop
manager)
2) I didn't find a browser that works 100%

David, in your answer you tell me that the monitor can't handle the the
signal coming from the card, but when I use windows 98 or Red Hat on
this machine , there is no problems with the monitor, so I think the
problem is by
the LTSP, isn't it?
For the other monitor, can I configure the lts

seems to be unsupported in dhcp3
On my machine, I had to change the rc script for dhcp to launch dhcp2.

I have installed many lts-209-pre4 packages where will be my lts server.
(lts_core, lts_kernel, lts_x_core, lts_x_fonts)
This machine have dhcp3, tftp and portmap..
Process of instalation:
lts_core: ./install.sh >>> ./ltsp_initialize
lts_kernel, lts_x_core, lts_x_fonts: ./install.sh
