Hello:
The dropbox folder you are referring to is a standard that the OS puts there.
The location is usually in your home folder.
Take care,

Hi,
I'm curious to learn what additional features you have using My Phone Desktop
over Type2Phone -- apart from the fact that Type2Phone is a Mac only
application that you can buy from the Mac App Store for the same price ($4.99).
When I linked to Dr. Drang's blog article about setting up
Yeah 4.99 here. and someone told me who has used it that it is not worth
getting I guess due to the clunklyness. I'm thinking that those of us that use
the clients can contact the venters and ask they make them accessible then
maybe I might consider using it but for now, no!

First when you run the my phone desktop mac client you get asked to install

Hi All,
There is a neat software for PCs called the vOICe.
It is a program that not only is a color detector, but it sonifies the
environment, by sending a tone from left to right as it scans the scene the
camera sees, and it uses a higher tone as it traces an image as the tracer
rises in the
Hi Sarah,
Thanks for the additional information. It sounds as though you get an
additional command sequence to initiate calls and text messages through the web
interface of My Phone Desktop. With Type2Phone you can type in the content of
text messages, and cut and paste content from your Mac

I don't know Type 2 Phone but My Phone Desktop allows you to make calls,
send text messages, open URLs in Safari, upload photos to your device,
as well as copy text to the iOS clipboard.

I have vision hunt, but I have only noticed that it does color
identification and a light source indicator.
