OK, you’re inserting a section and not a section break. By default, that means adding a section at the end of the document. If you insert a section break instead, you can then redefine the part of the document that comes after the section break. I think you must have created that short cut your

If you’re using Yosemite and the latest Pages, VO misreports a section break as a page break. There is no short cut for section break so you have to do it from the Insert menu. Also, Enter is not Return. The short cut for page break is Cmd-Enter which is Cmd-FN-Return on a laptop keyboard. When
