Hi Dane, Justin and All,
I, too, have verified that it doesn't seem possible to activate a picker list
from a field defined as a choice field when using VO in table view in the
Bento for Mac app. I did a little poking around and found the following three
ways that I'm able to correctly access
Hi listers,
I am creating a database in bento and the process seems straight forward.
However, I'm not able to affectively make the pop-ups behave like they should.
I'm also trying to figure out what field to use where. Do you use a number
field to store a number that is used to look up
Hello Justin,
I'd like to help but need a little clarification first, if you don't mind:
1. Regarding the popup: Are you using what bento calls a Choice field?
2. When you say you're unable to make the popups behave as they should, can you
give some exact details of how you think they should
Hi!
I think Justin's referring to the Choice type of field you can create with
Bento, you can certainly define the choices - whether they be Yes, No or
anything else in the creation process but you cannot access the choice list it
seems with Voiceover when you're adding a record.
You can see
Hi there,
I'll try to describe in how this database is supposed to be laid out, Ill give
field name, type, and description
Vehicle is from:choice Provides a drop-down of three possible choices
upsbrown/upsfreight/upssupplychain
receive date: unsure of field typefield used to enter
Does this database have to be on a local machine?
I.E. would a php driven mysql database on an internet host do the trick?
I know you'd like to get bento to work, I would too in your place,
but if a web alternative is doable (may obviate the need to export
it, since they could just access it
I'd take it where I could get it. I just don't know anything about building
this sort of a database. I've never used php/mysql.
