Hellow,
I'm trying to drag and drop some files so I can upload stuff to an FTP server.
Well it works in actual programs like garage band or safari, but for some
reason it won't work in the finder. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
I can't do a simple copy and paste,

Hi all,
I'd like to begin this by saying that I did look at the archives (albeit
somewhat cursorily) before asking this.
I want to add a load of audiobooks into itunes. Yes, I can use the menus to do
this, there's no problem there but I want to play with drag and drop a bit. So
Try turning cursor tracking off, that made it work for me in the Notes
application.

Hi
It's also worth noting that Drag & Drop isn't possible in all circumstances.
But what you do have to make very sure of is that both the destination and the

Actually if this works in ml I drag and drop the old way. This insures my
favorites are the way I want them, in ABC order.
Try my suggestion last though as the old way is a bit challenging at first but
it is doable.

Drag and drop is a little finicky. It's not really suited for handling files

Yes, I think you're right that VoiceOver calls it the "Accent" key. I've just
tried this a couple of times and I cannot replicate the problem. Each time I
did it it worked perfectly well. So who knows; maybe it's something local in
the configuration of the specific system; but I've

Sorry this is a little dated; but yes, we have successfully managed to drag and

You need to make sure that both winnows are visible; i.e., have 2 finder
