Yes, I just bought mine a week ago, so I don't think it is fixed. It was
Chris who recommended the setup with the VGA adaptor and converter box. For
me, this has fixed the issues I was having and I am happily using my Mini
without a monitor. Apparently, this varies from person to person,
I don't think they have updated this program for lion just yet. I got some
great help from a guy name CJ Daniels. Contact me off list and I will ask him
if I can give you his info. I have tried under lion, with no success. But I
heard it did work under SL. HTH

How new is it? The sluggishness and other bad behavior without a monitor
is well known but it sounds like the very latest models might have this

I have to do a final submission for the conference so they can put it on

No, this won't work alone. You'll need the converter box I mentioned, but

After I type for passkey, VoiceOver says it failed to pare.
My Bluetooth is on, and I can see Focus 40 Blue in the Bluetooth

Apparently I had turned the speech volume down, I used ctrl-option-command
arrows to move right then up until I got some volume back and was able to

the images. I guess I could locate the note elsewhere on the slide. I
was hoping for the equivalent of alt text for the images which voiceover
