Wait, just a second here. I was under the impression that all one had to do to
reply directly to the sender was to interact with the message headers group,
then, focus on the sender, VO=left arrow once, then, open the short cut menu
and choose e-mail from that menu. Always has worked for me.

The volume works for both vo and audio. Try playing around in system

volume and play/pause work but I only tried them with my computer talking and

I think the thing to keep in mind is that FS says they will not support Jaws
running on a Mac. I'm running VIsta on my Mac. I don't think you'll have any
