FWIW, I was able in the latest OS to get the VO drag commands to move something to the dock. 1. Go into system preferences- Dock and uncheck “Automatically hide and show the Dock unchecked checkbox” 2. Don’t use the drag command but instead use the drag after or drag before commands (

For me it also worked that way, initially I was not using all 4 fingers. then I tried the vertical gesture and even tried using my thumb instead of pinky, which also works btw. Finally I hit the sweet spot and now seem to have the kinaesthetic memory and can do it easily. Jenine Stanley

For what it may be worth to some, I found that, the first few times I tried this gesture I was really using only three fingers because my pinky was not really touching the phone. Once I adjusted my hand the small amount required to compensate for this all worked fine. HTH Sandy Sent from my
