On #4, you can set the virtual drive quite large as it will only expand to what it actually needs. I typically set it to 40GB. Generally the virtual disk will expand as needed but won't shrink back down when you delete stuff. For that you'll want to run the VMWare tools and get it to shrink you

Good summary. A couple tidbits to go along. Fusion defaults to 60GB for Win7 disk allocation and 1GB RAM. These might be minimums but probably work well for most situations. It also defaults to the 2GB allocations as separate files. Not sure the advantage other than for backing up maybe. If yo
