Using Mailman 2.1.5 is there a way to change the location of the log
files (bounce, error, post, etc)? I installed mailman in
/home/mailman-2.1 so the logs are currently in /home/mailman-2.1/logs,
I'd like them in /var/log/mailman instead.
Thanks in advance,

You can use $prefix/bin/arch to add the contents of .mbox files to the
HTML archives of a Mailman mailing list. RUn it with the -h option for
more information.
You could consider using the following patch to Mailman for integrating
htdig for archive search:

One of my mailman lists is used as an announcement-only list. Each alert, or
announcement goes out to a different group, which is pulled from a database
query. So it would be helpful to unsubscribe everyone right after sending

Hello,
I have a problem with version 2.1.4. I would like to use dumpdb to see the
user_option flags and apparently the values have changed. I searched the
archives and all I could find was a definition from Jon Carnes that only had
values up to 27. I am now seeing values like 264 and 280.

Hi folks,
I've determined that the problems I'm having with Mailman now are related
to the fact that I have Python 2.3.2 running in Debian (woody). Moderated
messages keep erroring into logs/error about True not being defined.
Does anyone here know of any reliable Python 2.3.3 or 2.3.4

I recently made the upgrade* from 2.0.8 to 2.1.5. It went well. Thank you,
mailman maintainers, for a great piece of software.
Mail to our mailing lists has had empty Cc headers since the upgrade. Why
is that? It's causing some mail to be rejected by our subscribers' MTAs,

Python = 2.2.2
Mailman = 2.0.13 (RPM) {note I tried from 2.1.5 source code first but didn't

Two problems one, the over-arching problem mail posted to the list is
not being forwarded to anyone.
Second, I am running two servers, my.server.com and my2.server.com. I

It's hard to say. There are a lot of issues in making an upgrade
